Christian Debt Relief: Skepticism Towards Big Guarantees |

It is too bad that being a good Christian does not translate into paying the bills but what are you going to do. Christian debt relief is no different than paying off debt for anyone else but it does sound a little more holy. The first word of advice I have when looking for credit card debt elimination is not to go with any fast talking service that guarantees positive results. That is a guarantee only you can make. At the end of the day, the debt is placed on your shoulders and you are the only one who can make steps to eliminate it.
If you are going to put your trust in a Christian debt counseling service choose a tangible location in your area where you can get candid testimonials from others in the area that have used them. When you can walk into an office and see others being helped then you can at least come to the conclusion that people are seeing results.
Another red flag to watch out for is when a Christian debt relief company contacts you by phone, promises lower interest rates and then says, “But first we are going to have to be paid a small fee. There is nothing wrong with skepticism.
